Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AI Use Phone at aiusephone.com and the AI Use Phone app in ChatGPT (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. What the Service does

The Service places real telephone calls on your instruction. An AI voice agent conducts the call, introducing itself by your name and speaking on your behalf, and returns a transcript and summary. Calls are placed from a phone number you have verified as yours.

2. Your responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
• You may only verify a phone number that you own or are authorised to use.
• You are responsible for every call you request — including its purpose, its content, and any commitments you allow the agent to make. Review the agent's summary before relying on it.
• You must comply with the laws that apply to you and to the person you are calling, including laws on unsolicited calls, call recording and consent, and automated calling.
• You must confirm each call before it is placed. Calls cannot be recalled once connected.

3. Prohibited uses

• Harassment, threats, fraud, deception or impersonation of a real person other than yourself.
• Marketing, cold-calling, political, debt-collection, survey or bulk calling.
• Calling emergency services, premium-rate numbers, or anyone who has asked not to be called.
• Obtaining or sharing payment card details, passwords, government identifiers or medical information over a call.
• Attempting to access other users' data or to circumvent limits and safeguards.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, and we may refuse any call at our discretion.

4. Limits

The Service enforces a daily call limit, one active call at a time, a maximum call duration, and a list of supported destination countries. These may change without notice.

5. Fees

The Service is currently free to use. We may introduce pricing in future with reasonable notice.

6. The AI agent

The agent is an automated system. It can mishear, misunderstand or make mistakes, and it may not achieve the objective you set. Summaries are AI-generated and may be inaccurate. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from the content or outcome of a call, from a missed or failed call, or from a third party's actions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (currently nil). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.

9. Third-party services

Calls are carried by Twilio and the voice agent is provided by ElevenLabs. Use through ChatGPT is also subject to OpenAI's terms. We are not responsible for those services' availability.

10. Changes, termination and law

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. You can close your account at any time by emailing support@aiusephone.com. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
